PowerFilm designed this Soltronix 24W Semi-Flexible Solar Panel specifically for a Thermo King Precedent Trailer Refrigeration Unit. This design includes a unique shape and an integrated fixed power point tracking (FPPT) charge controller.
Compared to other panels on the market, the integrated charge controller delivers more power to the battery and provides for a quicker installation. The custom shape offers access to the radiator cap without having to remove the panel, reducing maintenance costs.
The panel attaches easily to the metal frame of the TRU with four self-tapping screws. Older Thermo King units may need rubber feet as spacers between the panel and metal frame to avoid height obstructions. (Screws and spacers are not included).
